Kerry Katona felt the full force of her fans this week after sitting down in an interview with controversial GB News host Nigel Farage.
During the interview Kerry covered everything from her marriages and experience with drugs to the school curriculum.
However as soon as she posted a photo with the presenter, captioning it, “What a fun interview 💜” many of Kerry’s fans quickly began to unfollow her.
One fan wrote, “So shocked and disappointed to see you supporting a person with such values Kerry”, while another said, “Omg bad move! Sorry I have to unfollow🙈”.
A third commented, “I'm sorry but I'm adding myself to the unfollowed too. It's been fun but this man is the lowest of the low. He uses people for his own gain and you allowed him too. It's an insult to your mixed race family. Sad”.
It appears that following the backlash, Kerry then wrote underneath the post, “This interview doesn’t reflect any political views of mine.. it was a fun interview and always remember it’s nice to be nice ❤️”.

During her second marriage, in 2008, Kerry had her infamous This Morning interview with Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton. Kerry has said that it "destroyed" her career and she had to get TV companies to trust her again. And in a recent video uploaded to her YouTube channel, Kerry explained, "[The medication I was on] was really really strong… It was the only safe drug I was allowed to take… but it affected my speech." She added, "Because my speech is slurry people actually think I was drunk on the show… but that was pure medication and that's what winds me up."

In 2011, Kerry appeared on our screens as a contestant on the sixth series of Dancing on Ice and she partnered with professional ice skater Daniel Whiston. Unfortunately she was eliminated in the week 5 skate-off.

Following her appearance on Dancing on Ice, Kerry became a contestant on the eighth series of Celebrity Big Brother. She appeared alongside Jedward, Amy Childs and became runner-up to Paddy Doherty.

In 2012, Kerry reunited with Liz McClaron and Natasha Hamilton for a TV series The Big Reunion which featured other groups such as Five and B*Witched. The popularity of the show led to Atomic Kitten going on a UK arena tour in 2013. After a whirlwind five years together, Katona decided to leave the group again in 2017 - leaving them as a duo.

In 2014, Kerry married her third husband rugby player George Kay, who she had Dylan-Jorge with. Shortly after their wedding it was reported that Kerry and George were on the rocks for various reasons and they ended up briefly splitting. They tried to save their relationship and even renewed their vows, but in 2017 they called quits on their turbulent marriage. In 2019 George sadly passed away.

She opened up a lot about her past relationships and even went on some very open and very awkward dates. Kerry turned up to the final show in Tenerife on her own and admitted she was happy with the journey she had been on.

But not all of Kerry's fans were unhappy with the post as one person said, “We are all human! Remember freedom of choice still remains even though they are trying to take it away! Meeting different people in life does everyone good”.
Someone else commented, “You’ll only have decent people left after all the snowflakes unfollow anyway.”
While others missed the drama altogether with one simply saying, “Love your trousers ”.
And another asked, “Are them trousers from Hollister? Was looking at them other day😍”.

During the interview Kerry spoke candidly about her addictions and bankruptcy and even managed a swipe at ex-husband Mark Croft, who she divorced in 2010.
The former singer, who infamously spent £500 a week on her cocaine, said, “It's called the devil's dandruff. It's the most evil thing in the world, even more so than Mark Croft. It is very, very evil, and for me it's something I know I will never go back and do, never in a million years. I've worked too hard to get to where I am today.”
Kerry then moved onto the topic of schools and said that she doesn’t think young people are prepared enough for the real world. On GB News she said, “The bankruptcy and drugs, it's not spoken about. You learn about the Battle of Hastings. What's that going to do for somebody when they leave school? No one teaches you about a mortgage or bankruptcy unless you do a business course.”
The star – who was declared bankrupt in 2008 - managed to turn her fortune around and now insiders have told Closer magazine that Kerry is keen to spice up her Only Fans content by using her new 32DD boobs.
Her X-rated masterplan is all part of a drive to make as much money as possible, in the hope that she can pay for a surrogate to help her realise her baby dream.
A source explained, “Kerry’s realised how lucrative her OnlyFans work is and she’s keen to increase her income to help pay for the costly process involved in surrogacy, which can easily run into tens of thousands of pounds – plus the cost of having another child to raise.
“There’s no way she’d have a child naturally again – having had issues with DJ when she was born – but she feels guilty that Ryan hasn’t had a child that is biologically his, so she’s keen to go down the surrogacy route.
“She’s started the process, having looked into freezing her eggs. The next step is getting her eggs screened, as she knows with getting older there can be health-related issues.”
