Friend's of Katie Price are growing ever more concerned about her mental health
She’s shocked fans with her extreme surgery overhaul in recent weeks – going back under the knife earlier this month for a third face lift, as well as liposuction and a Brazilian butt lift.
And as Closer reported last week, she even told pals she was considering a career in porn with her new body, which she flaunted on her recent holiday in Turkey.
Last week, Jordan – real name Katie Price – left fans even more concerned about her apparent surgery addiction when she shared a post of her peeling face on Instagram, just days after being pictured with an alarmingly large pout at Stansted Airport and sporting a number of scars on her body during her make-or-break holiday with on/off beau Kris Boyson, 30.
One fan posted on social media, “I think you need a medical intervention, stop with the surgery,” while another commented, “Eyebrows, ridiculous, eyelashes, ridiculous, skin, ridiculous..KP…ridiculous!” Another quipped, “Your peeling skin is the last of your worries!”
A source says, “Katie’s surgery obsession is out of control. Deep down, she fears she’s taken things too far. She hates looking in the mirror, because she thinks she’s ruined her looks – especially after she reads all the nasty comments to her pictures on her Instagram.
“She wanted the surgery to boost her confidence, but it’s done the exact opposite. Her friends have told her the amount of procedures she’s having is worrying them, and they’ve warned her it alienates her fan base. They think she needs help to work through her insecurities and learn to be confident in herself without turning to the knife. But Katie is stubborn – even when she’s facing a backlash, she loves to annoy and shock people.”
The mum-of-five – who turned 41 last week – has hit headlines for all the wrong reasons since splitting from third husband Kieran Hayler, 31, with whom she shares Jett, five, and Bunny, four.
A spate of wild partying, which included a shocking cocaine confession, was followed by a failed 28-day stint in rehab in September for post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as a drink-driving charge and narrowly avoiding bankruptcy. But Jordan’s showed no signs of slowing down – flashing her boobs to contestants at the Porn Idol awards earlier this month and letting strangers grope them.
To make matters worse, she was forced to make the difficult decision to send her disabled son Harvey, who turns 17 next week, into full-time residential care on weekdays, amid his increasing physical needs. She also saw the children she shares with first husband Peter Andre – Junior, 13, and Princess, 11 – temporarily move in with their dad and his wife, doctor Emily MacDonagh.

After appearing eager to heal her longstanding rift with ex Peter – publicly apologising to him on Twitter two weeks ago – Jordan performed a dramatic U-turn just days later, when she reportedly described him as a “glorified babysitter” during a flight home from Turkey.
The source adds, “Kate’s been through hell this year, and after seeing Princess and Junior move in with Pete, and Bunny and Jett split their time between herself and Kieran, she really feels as if she’s lost the kids. They’re the most important thing in her life, so she’s been trying to distract herself with the nights out and surgery. She’s ignoring the people around her telling her that the best way to keep her family around is to rein in her wild behaviour and try to make permanent improvements in her life by going back into therapy.

“The trouble is, Katie never wants to admit that she’s wrong or appear weak. Despite knowing deep down that she needs to change, she continues with her wild antics because she can’t admit to herself that she’s at rock bottom. Her biggest fear is her kids not wanting to spend time with her – or Kieran and Peter trying to cut her contact with them.”
Meanwhile, the backlash from fans was evident last week when only six people turned up to a Vape store she opened in Preston.
“It’s a drastic turnaround compared with the huge crowds the former glamour model pulled in during her heyday.”

Katie's pal Francine Lewis tells Closer, "Katie seems to be going through a breakdown."
Katie's long term friend and Britain’s Got Talent star Francine met Katie when they were both glamour models in '90s.
Francine, 43 – who admits she recently reached out to Katie by text – tells Closer the star is going through a breakdown after seeing her kids move out.
She says, “Katie’s really struggling, it’s like she’s going through a breakdown. She’s gone off the rails. My heart goes out for her – it’s the hardest thing to not have your kids around. I know how difficult she finds it without her kids in the house.
“But she wouldn't be in the position if she didn’t act the way she did. Katie’s always been wild and liked to party and flash her boobs but when you have kids, you have to see what you look like in the public eye.
"I know she’s been through a lot but I do think ‘what is she doing?’ She’s always been a sex symbol and she feels she has to prove it. She probably fears she’s losing her looks and is desperate to be seen as desirable again. But for her kids to see that behaviour is embarrassing. People will talk about it at school and that’s not fair on them.”
And Francine – who has previously told Closer that Peter was the love of Jordan’s life – believes the star should be grateful to her ex and his wife Emily MacDonagh.
She says, “It’s hard that another woman is looking after her kids but Emily is amazing. If Katie hits out at her, it’s only because she’s with Pete and I don't think Katie has ever got over her heartache with him. Katie is a lovely girl deep down but she just doesn't seem right."
