Josie Cunningham hit headlines after she aborted her child to have a nose job
Josie Cunningham has gotten a tattoo dedicated to the baby she aborted in 2015.
The controversial mum - who is well known for getting a boob job free on the NHS - terminated her fourth pregnancy at 12 weeks after doctors refused to give her a nose job while she was pregnant.
At the time she admitted: "I'm having this nose job no matter what gets in my way.
"Pregnancy was a major obstacle and an abortion was the answer to it – so that's what I did."
She defended her decision by saying: "Anyone who criticises me for putting my looks ahead of an unborn child has no right until they’re the ones putting food on the table for my kids.
"I don’t care what anyone thinks. My body, my decision. I put my life on hold for my other kids. But now is my chance to get the looks I need so I can have the career I always wanted," she told the Sunday People.
She was then left devastated after being told she couldn't get the nose surgery and later admitted she "deeply regrets" her decision. Now it has come to light that Josie reportedly has several tattoos dedicated to her unborn baby.
A source explained to OK! Online: "She refers to her sleeve tattoo as her 'shrine' to her unborn baby, many people bury their shame and try to forget about the decision to terminate their child - but Josie believes it's something she would never forget, it's like she's punishing herself."
The insider also gave an insight into some of her tattoo designs: "[She has] the abortion date of '22-09-15' and quotes such as 'Forget what hurt you in the past, never forget what it taught you', along with a tattoo of the Virgin Mary shedding a tear, and many others to make up a full sleeve."
They also admitted that Josi, who has since fallen pregnant and welcomed her fourth child into the world, believes abortions is a subject that needs to be discussed more and is hoping she prevent other women from making the same mistake.
The mum-of-four recently hit headlines after she shared a topless photo to show "how well our taxes were spent". She then appeared on This Morning and said she saved the NHS money.
