Jeremy McConnell is reportedly planning to take his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis to court for her claims that Jeremy "killed" their unborn baby after she had a miscarriage.

Steph, 24, revealed that she had suffered a devastating miscarriage during Jeremy's assault trial, which found him guilty of attacking her, due to the stress of the court case.

The Irish model, 27, returned to Instagram yesterday after his silence during the trial to promote a teeth whitening kit - and turned the comments off on the post.

But a source has told The Sun that Jeremy is "furious", and wants Steph to "face justice".

They said: "He was so upset and is seeking advice from a solicitor regarding her claims he killed the baby, as it's untrue.

"He also wants her to face justice for what happened back in July in their hotel room."

That is in reference to Stephanie allegedly attacking Jeremy in a hotel room in July.

Jeremy himself immediately told MailOnline the extent of his injuries, saying: "She was jumping on the bed and the wooden post snapped off.

"She picked it up and hit me across the face. It knocked me down, and I think I passed out for a bit because when I came round the police were already in the room."

This comes after reports that Steph will feature in a documentary about domestic abuse, in the hope that it will help other people going through the same thing that she went through.

A spokesperson for the former Hollyoaks star has said: "We are looking at a number of media options for Stephanie.

"Supporting domestic violence charities and organisations is absolutely on our priority list for Stephanie, she wishes to raise awareness and stop women going through what she has."
