Hannah Tointon - who followed in the acting footsteps of her older sister, Kara Tointon (herself best known for her four-year stint in EastEnders in the mid-’00s) – has had plenty of scene-stealing roles as Katy Fox in Hollyoaks and Tara Brown in The Inbetweeners (remember THAT awkward bedroom scene?).

Hannah had some mega storylines in Hollyoaks as Katy Fox, the sister of village bad boy Warren, and will be especially remembered for the scene when Clare Devine drove her off a cliff, which won the award for Spectacular Scene of the Year at The British Soap Awards.
Hannah left Hollyoaks in 2008 and eights years later, it was revealed that her character had died of a drugs overdose off-screen.

Kara is currently engaged to Marius Jensen, a chiropractor originally from Norway, and they share two sons, Frey and Helly.
Hannah played an elephant in the A-list studded remake of The Jungle Book
Yep, you read that right. Hannah voiced a minor role as the bolshy elephant Winnifred in the 2016 Disney CGI remake of The Jungle Book, starring Bill Murray as Baloo and Scarlett Johansson as Kaa.
Didn’t I see Hannah Tointon in Mr Selfridge too?
Yes! Real-life sisters Hannah and Kara Tointon played Violette and Rosalie Selfridge, the glamorous daughters of Mr Selfridge in series three of the ITV show. It was the first time the sisters had acted together, and Hannah told the Radio Times, "We kept on looking at each other and laughing because we couldn't take each other seriously."

Hannah first stepped on to our screens as a teenager in CBBC show Kerching!, playing the love interest of teenage wheeler dealer Taj Lewis.
