Joe Thomas and Hannah Tointon are apparently engaged!

According to UniLad, The Inbetweeners couple have recently decided to tie the knot, with an insider telling them that "their families are planning the marriage".

How exciting!

The pair met on the set of The Inbetweeners in 2010 and have been dating ever since, even moving in together in London in 2012.

Hannah, sister of ex-Eastender Kara Tointon, played Joe's on-screen love interest, Tara. His character, Simon, was notoriously unlucky in love. Sadly, the pair split up in the series after Simon takes his friend's terrible sex advice and freaks Tara out, after which she dumps him.

But luckily for the couple, it's not turned out like that in real life!

Simon, from Chelmsford in Essex, also starred in Fresh Meat but is best known for his role in the E4 comedy. The success of the series also spurned a major film which took $88 million at the box office and a sequel which took $63.8 million.

Hannah starred in only three Inbetweeners episodes, but is better known for her role as Katy Fox in Hollyoaks and recently starred in Mr Selfridge.

We're so happy for the pair!
