Danniella Westbrook, also known as Eastenders' Sam Mitchell, returned to the show this year for four episodes following her onscreen mum Peggy Mitchell's, played by Barbara Windsor, hearbreaking funeral scenes.
Even though she admitted that she doesn't watch Eastenders she has expressed that she would like to return to the soap for good.
Earlier it was reported that the actress was sacked following an argument with her co-star Natalie Cassidy. Although the 42-year-old denied it writing on Twitter: "I had two weeks work to do [at Eastenders] a funeral to shoot. Nothing with Peggy or Grant. I was not sacked."
She also wrote: "The crap story a supposed source has given is just that CRAP! I came back for the 4 episodes they needed me for & my last day was Saturday."

The actress has also previously expressed that the public want her character to return to the show.
She uploaded a photo of herself on Instagram with her onscreen son Ricky with the caption: "My on screen son Ricky what a great child to work with a real little pro and wonderful actor…
"It's such a shame I won't be going back to the show as I think people would of loved to see Sam as a mum and with a different take on the character…
"But I don't write the show I just do what they tell me… And they've done what they also do use Sam when she's needed & then send her off in a black cab.
"I wish @bbceastenders would listen to the public more… But either way I'm grateful for the four episodes I got to film."
More recently the actress confirmed that Sam is not returning to Eastenders. After a fan tweeted that they think Sam is returning to the BBC soap, Danniella replied writing: "NO SAM IS NOT BACK AT @bbceastenders anytime soon."
According to The Sun a fan also tweeted: "Only the other day I was harping on about @westbrookdanni's Eastenders comeback… LET'S BRING HER BACK PERMZ", she tweeted and then deleted a tweet which said: "It's not me its @bbceastenders who need convincing. The public seem to want Sam. I've had no contact."
And it seems that Danniella may not be on the best of terms with Eastenders, she liked a tweet by a fan that pointed out that during the credits of the show they misspelt her name:
We know we would love for the feisty Mitchell to return to our screens but what do you think of a Sam Mitchell return?
