Tina O'Brien has revealed that she is putting off her wedding to Adam Crofts
Coronation Street actress Tina O'Brien has revealed that she has been procrastinating over her wedding to fiancé Adam Crofts.
Tina, 33, revealed that the couple, who got engaged last May at The Didsbury House Hotel, have done the initial planning of the wedding, but have "stalled a little" due to Tina wanting her wedding to be perfect.
Well, we all want our weddings to be the best days of our lives, don't we!
The couple spoke to OK! magazine whilst on holiday with the children - Beau, two, and Scarlett, eight, who Tina has from her relationship with ex Ryan Thomas, who also starred on Corrie as Tina's on-screen partner.
She said: "I'm kind of struggling with what style of wedding I want. Originally I was thinking of having a big wedding, now I'm thinking about something more intimate.
"I'm very indecisive at the minute! Poor Adam is just having to bear with me."
She also revealed that she would invite her whole Corrie family, including Helen Worth, who plays Gail Platt, Tina's on-screen mum; Jack P. Shepherd, who plays David Platt, Tina's on-screen brother; Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, her on-screen daughter.
Speaking to The Sun last July, Tina explained that Scarlett's father, Ryan Thomas, would also be invited.
It turns out that Adam and Ryan are very good friends, after personal trainer Adam helped Ryan overhaul his fitness regime.
Of the unique relationship, Tina said: "It's taken a lot of years and a lot of biting my tongue. Seriously, though, it's mainly down to Adam and Ryan.
"It helps that everyone has moved on and is in a happy place. For the sake of Scarlett, it has been well worth preserving our relationship and choosing our battles."
The way that Tina met Adam is also a very sweet story - and it's all thanks to little Scarlett.
It was only a year and a half after her heartbreaking split from Ryan, but apparently, Scarlett went up to Adam whilst the two were in Starbucks in Manchester, and said, "Hello man!"
And the rest is history!
Tina told The Sun about their first date: "He gave me a kiss right in the middle of the street, just before I had to leave, and I was like, 'I think I really fancy you!'"
She also described the moment she knew he was The One. After six months of dating, she nervously introduced him to Scarlett for the first time - properly.
She said: "It was the most nerve-wracking day. I worried about whether Scarlett would get on with him and if he would get on with her. He came over and she had this daft Wendy house and he was like, 'Let me see!'
"He's nearly 6ft and climbed straight in and started playing. There was no awkwardness. That's when I knew he was the one. He's become my best friend."
The two gushed over each other to OK!, with Tina saying: "Hearing Adam say he always wants to be with me will be the most amazing thing in the world," and Adam adding: "I'll be happy when I can call Tina my wife."
N'aww!
Congratulations to the happy couple!
