Anyone who has watched TOWIE will know that after a lot of speculation the duo finally confirmed that they had crossed the line from friendship to romance and it all began two years ago.
And when the ITVBe series recently ended it appeared that they were on good terms but now it looks like things have changed again.
CHECK OUT: axed TOWIE stars - where are they now?
Jake Hall, series 14 -17
Jake's time on TOWIE was mainly characterised by his on / off relationship with Chloe Lewis and his alleged cheating on her. He finally (sort of) confessed that he'd done the dirty with Megan McKenna in a very emosh scene on a park bench. Ah, precious memories.
Speaking to the Mail in November, Pete, 32, admitted that he and Chloe were talking again.
"When we didn't talk it was horrible," he said.
Pete also shared a post for Chloe, 38, on her birthday last month, addressing the caption to his "one of the most important people in [his] life."
He wrote, " Here’s to another year of you being you... happy birthday."
Chloe returned the favour by sharing an intimate photo of herself and Pete on his birthday, but weeks later it appears that the tables have turned.
The mum-of-one took to the 'gram to reflect, and shared a cryptic quote that read "Stop choosing who isn't choosing you," over on her Stories.
What does this mean, Chloe?
And despite saying last month that things were "all good" between them, Chloe has now unfollowed Pete on Instagram while he remains one of her followers.

This news of a potential rift between Chloe and Pete comes not long since Pete spoke out about his former TOWIE co-stars in a, err, not-so-flattering light...
Speaking to Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson on her new podcast, You Come First, Pete branded his old TV pals "d--keads" and told Megan, 26, that he "massively" regrets working on reality shows.
He said, "The amount of people that I work with – naming no names – that you think, 'If I had to sit and have a beer with you, I would rather punch myself in the face repeatedly,' but then people see them on TV and think, 'They must be wonderful.'"
Wow, Pete, tell her how you really feel 😂.
