Ruby Barry is a Fashion & Beauty Products Writer for Closer Online, Grazia and heatworld, and specialises in anything creative. When she was three years old, her parents caught her painting the entirety of their patio with a glitter/water-based mixture, so it's safe to say she sees the world as her canvas.
After taking an interest in acting from a young age, Ruby studied Drama at the University of Essex, where she discovered a love for playwriting. Her work has been showcased in places like the Lakeside Theatre, and in Theatre Lab’s Digital Arts festival. Playwriting developed into an interest in journalism, which brought her to Bauer.
Ruby is known for her long-form fashion articles, where she recreates characters' outfits from famous shows, such as The Queen's Gambit, The Crown and Sex Education, for viewers to buy. She continues to scout out the best dupes for the newest TV show outfits, to a nerd-level degree.
