Mum discovers secret feature on M&S school trousers for when children get too tall

Kitting out your children with a school uniform, stationeryand now masks can feel like a never-ending list that inevitably costs you an arm and a leg.

Especially when in six months time the pencil case is missing, the shoes are scuffed and the trousers are way too short. Literally, the stuff of our nightmares.

She says, "Just unpick and press for an extra 3cm. Added stretch and an adjustable waist for a perfect fit".

Yep, it turns out that M&S school trousers have a second hem which are designed with growth spurts in mind. Genius.

The handy feature means that the trousers can be extended by 3cm, saving you more money in the long run. What lovely news, indeed.

Parents rushed to comment on the post calling it 'life-changing' and we have to agree.
