Former TOWIE star Demi Sims enjoys a statement piece of footwear more than we enjoy a reality TV show. OK that might be an exaggeration but she is always sporting some sort of shoe which looks more like a piece of art than functioning footwear.
The youngest Sims sister attended a fashion event recently with older sister Frankie Sims and proved our point by wearing an all black ensemble paired with an extravagant pair of bright red boots that have taken the internet by storm.
The two Sims sisters are currently in England rather than L.A, where their TV show House of Sims was filmed and they now call home. Speaking of, how do we STILL not have an official release date for the new telly program? Why are Demi and Frankie gallivanting around London rather than filming the next season or promoting the current? We shall be emailing their agents within the hour.
Back to Demi and her over-sized shoes that looked as though she has just been hit in the foot with a cartoon hammer like some sort of Looney Tunes character. The reality TV star isn’t the only celebrity to be rocking MSCHF’s avant-garde footwear. From DJ Diplo to TikTok sensation Wisdom Kaye, they are the new ‘IT’ footwear. But it does seem as though they’re not for everybody as when Demi posted a video of her unboxing her followers had, erm, thoughts.
Taking to TikTok she held a red box that was nearly as big as Demi herself and launched into a story about how much of an issue she has had with the designer clobber.
“I have waited over a month to unbox these boots, they have been proper hassle, not going to lie.”
As always the comments section was an absolute delight and had Demi being compared to around fifty fictional creatures, one person quizzed “What in the Paddington bear are those? 😳”.
Someone else wrote, "Is this a joke?"
Another added, "They look like the shoes the Tweenies wear kmt."
If you are also interested in looking like a red-footed booby (it's a bird, get your mind out of the gutter) then Demi's designer boots will set you back a casual £750 with some retailers charging £1400. Whew. That's a lot of dollar to pay if you want to look like Clifford the Big Red Dog but you do you.
