Made In Chelsea star Ashley James found out she was expecting her first child in April with her boyfriend Tom Andrews.

The pair started dating at the end of 2019 and are overjoyed to be expecting a baby boy together in January.

"I love being pregnant – I feel like the best version of myself. I love watching my body grow and change." she told Closer.

"The baby has been a really beautiful, positive thing for us to focus on in all the chaos and uncertainty of 2020."

The star also shared her pregnancy must-have, which she promises is 'life-changing'.

Mums-to-be, listen up.

"I bought a pregnancy pillow and that’s been my must-have. It’s completely transformed my ability to sleep! It’s so nice and it even fits into my interior colours because I’m quite big on my interiors."

"It’s called bbhugme and it’s dusty pink. That’s the one life-changing product I’ve found and I think I’ll be sleeping with it even after the baby’s born."

Ashley has hit the nail on the head, where would we be without a pregnancy pillow, tbh?

A promising review: "I purchased this nursing pillow during week 35 of my pregnancy and it has been glorious! I am having to sleep sat up in bed due to consistent heartburn and this pillow offers a lot of extra comfort and support, therefore I have been able to sleep much better. I love that the cover is washable and the additional cover that turns it into a baby nest is genius!"

A promising review: "These support pillows are great and the addition of the button attachment at the ends makes it much more stable than other cushions of this type. It's longer than a regular breastfeeding cushion and much better filled than a log of other cushions of this style that I've used. The covers a good quality and have nice designs with zip openings. We actually bought another one after seeing how good they are."

A promising review: "My wife likes to be hugged at night and I typically work late into the night. She often gets a bit moody when I don't go to bed the same time as her as she wants hugs and I assume warmth during the night. I bought this pillow as it looks like it completely wraps around the person and she can also wrap her arms round the pillow. May sound daft but she really likes it. She uses it most nights and the other day she came down the stairs with it and sat on the sofa with it."

She also divulged about her pregnancy cravings and how her diet has changed since she found out she was expecting...

"At the moment I’m craving Coco Pops. Also Fruit Corners and weirdly cherry tomatoes, so not really what I expected!" she tells Closer. "Fruit Corners are a bit weird because I haven’t had them since childhood. I always wake up so hungry so I’m making early morning porridge."

Ashley also talks about the importance of exercising during pregnancy.

"When I found out I was pregnant I’d fallen over running so I couldn’t exercise for a couple of months. When I’m exercising and training, it’s not about weight loss but more for my mental health and all the physical benefits. I’m very top heavy at the moment so I’m doing a lot of exercises with a PT to strengthen my lower back, which will obviously help support the bump as it gets bigger. We’re also doing work on my core, which will help with the labour. I want to be as strong as I can for the baby. The more exercise I do now, the quicker the recovery time is. "

"I’ve been different sizes throughout my 20s and 30s and being my skinniest definitely wasn’t my happiest. I don’t believe in the idea of ‘getting your body back’ after birth, it’s like a new body and that’s fine. "

Preach it, Ashley.

"Ollie Locke is still one of my close friends. He’s very very excited about the baby and he’s definitely the one that I’m closest to from the show."
