The QUEEN of DIY and our favourite domestic goddess, Stacey Solomon, has done it again, this time she's showing us how to upcycle wood features in your home.
If there's anyone we can trust for a cheeky affordable DIY hack, it's Stacey. From transforming an old sofa to upcycling her charity shop homeware, the busy mum sure has a few tips and tricks up her sleeve on how to transform your home on a budget.
Sharing to her 5.1 million followers on Instagram stories, she discovered an easy way to transform her wooden staircase. Looking to give the old Pickle Cottage staircase a glow up, Stacey figured out a way to get the staircase to be one wood colour and we're taking notes...
After struggling to even out the wooden tones even after a lot of sanding, Stacey wanted to avoid painting the staircase a solid colour. Despite not having faith in herself, Stacey was shocked at the result of the patch test sharing, "I didn't think this would actually work" - we believed in you from the start, Stacey.
Revealing exactly how she managed to save the original wood texture and beauty, Stacey highlighted two Frenchic Paint products that led to the success of the hack.

Now, Stacey Solomon isn't the only fan of Frenchchic's browning wax. Best friend to Stacey and everyone’s favourite cleaning influencer, Mrs Hinch, gave the browning wax her own little test and the results were also INCRED.
Looking to transform her son's bedside lamps, Mrs Hinch revealed that Frenchchic's browning wax is the best "quick and easy way to change a wood shade."
A game-changing hack approved by two of the best DIY queens, Stacey Solomon and Mrs Hinch... we'll take 10.
