Stacey Solomon shares £6 secret for homemade Christmas crackers

We're going to tell it straight, we owe Stacey Solomon a lot.

From her budget fake tan recommendation (it's a goodie) and her wrapping paper hack to the time she actually transformed our kitchen sink for £7.71, we love following the Loose Women presenter for her unmatched crafting knowhow.

Her latest tip involved the star making homemade Christmas crackers and she helpfully share the process on her Instagram story. Corr, we love it when that happens.

She then shared a snap of her finished crackers with the caption, "5 down 9 to go. Even if I don't get to spend Christmas with my family, they'll still get a cracker." The cutest Christmas gift idea, ever?

Stace revealed she uses a cracker kit from eBay, which cost around £6 for 8. Alas, the kit is no longer available on site (the Stacey Solomon effect, eh?) but don't worry as we've found one very similar to buy from eBay.

To fill her crackers, she uses free beauty samples from shops. She shared the priceless hack on Instagram stories. Genius.

'"This is what I went shopping for. 😂Free samples to fill my Christmas crackers. 😂They're the perfect size and the shops are shifting from Thursday so I didn't know if I'd get the chance again." she explained.

'I know this seems really sad and joe HATES coming with me when I do this but they're there for people to take home and try so why not? 😂

'I'll probably regret posting this but hey ho if anyone out there is filling their own crackers or advent calendars and wondering what to use I think things like this are perfect.'
