Christmas escort: ‘A man paid for me to have sex with his wife as a festive gift’

Under Tallulah Thomas’ tree there are several presents and bottles of Champagne, gifted to her by clients. Tallulah is a sex worker and December is the busiest time of the year.

Tallulah, 32, who lives in Plymouth, became an escort ten years ago after she split up with her husband of three years.

She explains, “I’ve always loved sex and, after we split up, I was devastated and slept around to try to get over it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and then I realised that if I was doing it anyway, I might as well charge for it!

“I’ve been working as an escort on and off ever since. The Christmas period is very busy and I always see a mixture of men, from policemen to lawyers. Age-wise, my clients have been anything from an 18 year old, who lost his virginity to me, to a 92 year old.

“Clients are more generous at Christmas – and they definitely seem to enjoy my Santa outfit! They often give me a cash bonus, or will book me for two hours and only stay for one hour. And lots of them – both regulars and one-offs – actually bring me presents – anything from perfume and underwear to flowers and Champagne."

“I don’t work on Christmas Day, instead I visit friends or family. But I work late on Christmas Eve. I can see up to five clients in a day during the festive season and I charge £180 for an hour.

“I don’t tend to ask the men why they visit me – but some of them do mention that they need release from the stress of Christmas. Clients have also told me that it’s an easy time to get away as they can say they’re going Christmas shopping or that it’s their work party.

“I even take some group bookings from post-party men, though I am wary of that in case they are overly drunk. I don’t want them throwing up in my flat, or getting bolshy and quibbling over payment. I have had to refuse entry to some groups who were too wasted.”

Tallulah has enjoyed many different Christmas liaisons – including being invited over by a couple for their annual festive party.

She says, “They had loads of friends over at the beginning of December, including me. The couple had arranged for me to stay behind when everyone left, and we spent the whole night having sex together. We did it in front of their log fire beneath the Christmas tree.

“It was their present to each other, which I thought was brilliant. In the morning, I had breakfast with them, before being given a huge Christmas bonus. For me, it’s definitely the season of goodwill."
