Shout out to the parents trying to work from home and look after their kids at the same time.
Exhausting, isn't it? Almost like (EXACTLY like) trying to work two full time jobs at the same time.
So, it's especially important to take time out from work and use some annual leave in this difficult time. We know, we know, time on an actual beach / in a forest / cycling up a mountain - whatever floats your vacation boat - would be better but we've got to work (holiday) with what we have right now.
And while we may have lost our freedom, we haven't lost our sense of fun.
Here are seven ideas for when your holiday is at home with your kids.
We may receive a small amount of commission for purchases made through our links. But we haven't chosen products because of that. For real.
Fun ideas for holidays at home with children
Try sports day in the garden
School may be out but there's nothing to stop you having sports day in the garden. Egg and spoon, three legged, um...the sack race? There's loads of wholesome fun to be had, and you can even dish out little prizes - to everyone, because everyone is a winner - at the end.
Have a video game tournament
Look, so far as we're concerned, rules on screen time have been relaxed. You're on holiday! But rather than using games as a virtual babysitter (hun, us too) get involved with one that's fun for adults and kids. How about Kingdom Hearts III? It works on PlayStation 4 plus Xbox One and contains characters including Mickey and Goofy plus Ham from Toy Story so is fun for all the family (aged ten and over).
Experience the cuisine of the world
What food do all kids love? Pipe down with your 'beetroot' at the back. Our kids are wild for pizza, and so add some pizzazz to your pizza night by making your own. If you're feeling especially authentic, Jimmy's Popup are offering pizza party deliveries including ingredients, utensils and the loan of a micro pizza oven that they assure us will fit on a balcony (as well as in a garden). We're sold.
Have a sleepover in the sitting room
Kids don't really seem to appreciate the value of sleep but sleepovers are definitely fun for all.Try bedding the family down for the night in the living room following a movie marathon (Disney+, anyone?) and popcorn. It'll be a hoot.
Get green fingered
If you're gardening, then your little ones will want to be gardening too. This DIY set will provide children with a garden space of their own where they can play and experiment with flowers and plants. Soil, seeds and growing tips are included.
Spa at home
Everyone likes to look their best on their jollies, right? So why not nail a perfect mani and pedi at home. How to do the perfect manicure/pedicure at home
Realise their inner Annie Leibovitz
Holidays need photos. If your little one is off adventuring around the house, why not let them have free rein with their own camera? Plus, it's really cute to see what kind of things kids want to take photos of (spoiler alert: it's everything and it's blurry).

Anything else? Maybe have a think about what you like to get out of a holiday.
If it's feeding your mind, many global attractions have turned to the power of the internet to keep their exhibitions accessible.
Why not check out the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum, oggle kings and queens at the National Portrait Gallery, or get involved and make some art yourself with LA's The J. Paul Getty Museum.
If you like to soak up some rays on a sunshine break, fake it rather than baking it with the best gradual tanners and best facial fake tan.
And if you like to relax on holiday - HA HA HA HA HA HA - sorry, you're a parent now. Holidays are just child-minding in a different location.
Still really valuable for your mind though and for spending some quality time with your little darlings.
And if you're holidaying solo in your home? Don't worry, we've got you covered too.
