It’s fair to say that Nicole Sealey’s relationship with fellow Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lystra Adams has been an absolute rollercoaster ride.
The pair feuded for the best part of two seasons and, at one point, Lystra even demanded that Nicole apologise to her COAT after a particularly explosive row – but fans were overjoyed last year when Nicole posted a snap of her, Lystra and Tanya Bardsley on Instagram, suggesting that their feud was over and they were on good terms.
Sadly, it seems that things between the Housewives have taken another turn for the worse as Nicole has admitted her relationship with Lystra is “very strained”.
Chatting exclusively to Closer following the premiere of season 15, Nicole said, “I think I’ve made big efforts with her. Over time I’ve really made an effort and there’s no secret that I think it’s a very strained relationship.
“At the end of the day, it will pan out and people will watch the journey of where it ends up back to unfortunately.
“It’s no secret that it’s a little bit strained.”
Lystra previously hinted there was more to her feud with Nicole than viewers saw on the show, telling OK!, “With that situation, there was more to it. There was hours of filming. Of course, we gotta have things cut down to make it – if everybody got on it would be a boring show.
“So it wasn't just me walking into the room and going, 'You apologise to me and my coat' and just walk out. There was more to that situation that wasn't shown."
Although Nicole and Lystra probably won’t be friends any time soon, the entrepreneur turned reality star has mended her relationship with Ester Dee after she quit the show in 2020.
In fact, Nicole even admitted she’d love to work with Ester again.
She told us, “Though Ester and I were quite feisty when we first met, she came back and did an appearance and we got on really well.
“I do think she’s quite a fun addition to the show. I don’t think she will come back but she might pop back in. I do enjoy filming with her. She’s a lot of fun."
