Back in 2018, Maya was rumoured to appear on Strictly Come Dancing with a TV source telling The Sun, "Maya would be a great contestant on the show – she looks incredible, loves music and is already a big fan of the series.
"She’s had a busy start to the year after presenting at The Brits and landing a presenting slot at Radio One – and she doesn’t want to slow down."
Maya has previously gushed about the BBC 1 show and admitted she would love to be a contestant.
She said, "Strictly Come Dancing is amazing. I used to dance when I was younger for like a couple of years when I was about ten and I haven’t done any structured or routine dance since – well except when I’m in a club."

Back in 2020, Maya only wanted to do a good deed when she set up fundraising company Collections, aiming to raise money for the homeless by gathering and auctioning off designer outfits worn by herself and other celebrities.
But she was forced to throw in the towel after coronavirus restrictions made her latest project “impossible”.
The former Radio 1 DJ set up a business model whereby the rich and famous would donate second hand clothes which would then be nabbed at swish fundraising events for the Big Issue Foundation, but, said her business partner, “Collections runs on public events and obviously we can’t run public events at the moment".
“You can’t fundraise during a pandemic,” she continued. “Asking our supporters to spend money when families are losing their jobs and going through a hard time is insensitive
“We will continue to host fundraisers in the future but don’t need a limited company to do it.
“Instead will have more collaborations with other charities in the future.”
