We love (pun intended) when ex-islanders weigh in on another series of Love Island or make the odd remark in regards to their own season and Liberty Poole from Love Island 2021 has gone and done just that.
Liberty was a guest on the Looking for Lewys podcast, along with YouTuber and influencer Flossie Clegg and they chatted about all things Love Island including the Winter Love Island currently airing on the telly and, of course, about Liberty's own season.
Lewys mentioned the recent row between Haris Namai and Shaq Muhammad and claimed that it was about, "Alpha males asserting their dominance. We got it last year as well with, like, Luca and Jacques."
Liberty interjected with a laugh, "I'd probably find it fit, I love an alpha male."
Continuing his thoughts on the male contestants and their 'alpha male' tendencies Lewys nodded at Liberty before saying, "Hugo and Toby in your season."
Lewys is of course referencing Hugo Hammond and Toby Aromolaran but Liberty found the concept around Hugo and Toby being alpha males hilarious and replied, "I didn't find that fit but yeah," before breaking into a fit of laughter along with Lewys and Flossie.

Toby coupled up with Chloe Burrows during his time on Love Island and the pair were crowned runners up, coming second to Chloe's BFF Millie Courtand her now ex Liam Reardon. They even stayed together for longer than a week once they left the villa (that's practically a year in the world of Love Island relationships.)
Hugo on the other hand struggled on the romance reality show, yet somehow the PE teacher managed to last 38 days on the island before being dumped.
Toby and Hugo butted heads over Chloe during a recoupling where Hugo called Toby out on how he had treated Ms. Burrows, ultimately it didn't make a lick of difference as Chloe ended up with Toby anyway and Hugo got the boot.
During her stint, Liberty was in a couple with Jake Cornish from day one until four days before the final. The couple decided to walk out of the villa before the end as their relationship had ultimately become more of a friendship and they didn't want to potentially take the win from another couple.
