Celebs Go Dating is back Back BACK (as is TOWIE’s Pete Wicks for a third time).
When we attended the Celebs Go Dating launch party we caught up with Laura Anderson and asked what it’s really like filming therapy sessions with dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson.
“It’s really hard because you need to think, not that I need to protect my ex, but there’s things that I wouldn’t say.
“So what you’ll probably see is me getting really frustrated because I can’t say it and then I just cry because that’s the reaction, if I can’t articulate something, I just cry."
The Love Island 2018 star, who split from Dane Bowers earlier this year, added, "There was a bit of that [crying] because I wouldn’t say certain things on TV. I tried to say little things because I genuinely wanted them to understand and give me some advice.
"But my priority was respecting him."
And, according to Laura, it turns out that Dane wasn't impressed with her going on Celebs Go Dating after their split in August.
"He was already annoyed at me that I went on it,” she added.
Love Island fans will remember Laura's turbulent time in the villa, she originally coupled up with Wes Nelson but he dumped her for Megan Barton Hanson, she was then in a couple with Jack Fowler but he moved on with Laura Crane. Luckily Paul Knops saved the day, sort of, and the pair were runners up to winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer.
One of Laura's most dramatic moments on the show was when she argued with Georgia Steel following her infamous date with Jack. Remember? It all kicked off when 'loyal' Georgia claimed they both kissed on the date but Jack denied it and, on camera, viewers only saw Georgia lean in for a kiss.
Laura confronted her not-so-loyal-actually pal and told her to "wind her f--king neck in and shut up". It then kicked off with Georgia and Ellie Brown.
But Laura has says fans will see a different side to her on Celebs Go Dating.
"On Love Island I was the older, emotional, boring one that was nice. I was a girls' girl. Nice is good but that's not all I've got to offer, so I was probably a bit much on the dates, the sexual innuendos were just coming out, it was bad.
"I really don't want my dad to watch it."
Celebs Go Dating starts Monday 28 November at 10pm on E4.
