Jack Fincham speaks out following Dani Dyer and Sammy Kimmence split

Love Island 2018 winner Jack Fincham has made a rare public comment about his ex girlfriend Dani Dyer, more than two years after their split.

Jack and Dani left the villa victorious back in 2018 after coupling up in the first episode and sticking together throughout the series.

And despite making a good go of things on the outside world, they eventually split up in April 2019 after Dani went back to her pre-Love Island boyfriend, Sammy Kimmence.

And it seems as though the passing of time really has healed old wounds as Jack had only warm wishes to send his ex on a recent Instagram post.

Uploading a throwback snap from his time in the villa, Jack captioned the post, “Throwback to simpler times . Didn’t even have anyone to text 😂”.

And while fans were having a whale of a time reminiscing in the comments, one wrote, “Back when you had Dani…missed opportunity there, lad”.

Jack was unphased by the comment, writing, “[It] was a long time ago I just want her to be happy” – a response which received 134 likes.

Others weren’t so diplomatic, though, with one writing “Missed opportunity with a woman who knowingly has a kid with a criminal thief?” and another commenting, “She went back to her ex? 😂”.

Dani is currently concentrating on being a single mum to her one year old son Santiago, after his dad Sammy was jailed for a total of 42 months after he was found guilty of defrauding two OAPs out of £34,000.

She was reportedly “terrified of being a single mum” and was convinced that Sammy “would be let off” before his sentencing, with a source telling OK! magazine at the time, “Dani is going to be terrified at the the possibility of effectively becoming a single mum so early on into motherhood, especially off the back of the guilt she feels for not breastfeeding Santi that she has spoken about on social media.”

And things have escalated since Sammy’s incarceration, with him allegedly sending a friend to spy on Dani.

She said on social media, “After all the awful things he did came out in court and we split up, I thought I could start to move on with my life with little Santi.

“But this is just really horrible and scary. I have been left feeling furious, afraid and violated.”

Meanwhile, Jack has had plenty of his own love drama thanks to a bitter public feud with his former pal Casey Ranger – who is the mother of his daughter Blossom.

Casey has consistently accused Jack of being an absent father and she recently released a lengthy statement on Instagram which read, “As I write this post with an open heart I can’t help but feel a lot of anxiety & discomfort surrounding my choice to speak up on such a private matter.

“Having a part of my life played out so publicly is beyond difficult to deal with - I keep my personal life private & I never acknowledge any rumours/speculation surrounding private matters.

"However, it’s been testing at times & there have been a couple of occasions where I’ve had no choice but to address the lies being told that have involved my daughter. Before posting this, I have spoken with my solicitor so I’m fully aware of what can and can’t be said. Due to legal reasons, I’m very restricted.”

Jack has since hit back at his ex in a lengthy Instagram post.
