I'm A Celeb bosses are not impressed with the contestants of 2017
It was time to celebrate for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here** **bosses last week after they picked up a National Television Award in the Best Challenge Show category.
You can imagine the celebrations from the likes of Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, Amir Khan, Rebekah Vardy, Jamie Lomas and co, but it turns out the cast of 2017 got a little too excited, causing them to LOSE the trophy!
According to The Sun, Toff, Jennie McAlpine, Vanessa White and Amir had a little too much to drink and misplaced the gong after they were posing for a number of a 'drunken selfies'.
A source told the publication: "The award was being passed around on the night of the NTAs.
"People were desperate to take a selfie with it and obviously with everyone sloshed it got lost."
They even added that they think selfies will be "banned" next year.
OOPS!
Iain Lee, who took part in the show last year, admitted that the trophy has gone missing. On his TalkRadio show he explained: "The day after the National Television Awards [the producer] phoned me up and said, 'Have you got the NTA award? Someone’s walked off with it. I’ve got to ring round everyone that was there to see if they know where it is.'
"She spoke to me again on Friday and it still hasn’t turned up, so one of the celebrities has it. Which one of the celebrities has stolen [it]?"
Eek!
As well as being a good night for the** I'm A Celebrity **cast, popular duo Ant and Dec also had a very successful evening.
The Geordie duo won two awards, Best TV Presenter and the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award for their show Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, but it was during their acceptance speech for Best Presenter, that Ant addressed his "tough year" with an emotional speech.
After announcing he was divorcing his wife Lisa just days before, Ant told the audience: "It’s been a very emotional night tonight. It’s been quite a year.
"It’s been quite a tough 12 months so winning this tonight really means a lot, so thank you for all your support, it really means the world to me, it’s helped me get through."
Ant then turned to his presenting partner Dec, and said: "And thanks to you little guy, I love you man."
Well done boys!
In other Ant and Dec news, the pair have started filming for the brand new series of Britain's Got Talent alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.
