At last, the moment we've been waiting for. The two Dannies together, on TV, at the same time!
Ever since the lovely Dani Dyer stole our hearts on this year's season of Love Island, we've been desperate for her to collaborate with her old dad on TV.
Finally, the time has come. EastEnders favourite Danny Dyer and his daughter Dani will be filming a celebrity special of Channel 4's Gogglebox together.
It's all in the name of C4's Stand Up To Cancer and, knowing Mr. Dyer, there's bound to be some profanities - put your kids to bed beforehand. But Danny announced the news in an adorable Instagram post, calling daughter Dani his "little soulmate" and encouraging us to come together to stand up to cancer.
Danny's Instagram post read:
"Me and my beautiful little soul mate @danidyerxx will be on goggle box this Friday night talking a bit of bollockyness in aid of stand up to cancer. We all need to come together and raise some serious reddies to try and combat this nasty evil thing that takes far 2 many lives. #standup2cancer #fridaynight #gogglebox"
The father and daughter duo will sadly appear without mum Jo Mas in the episode, and will voice their opinions on this week's telly alongside all the Gogglebox regulars, including fan favourites the Siddiquis.
The cameras were round at the Dyer family household in Essex on Friday to shoot the episode, which will air this Friday as part of the annual charity telethon.
Dani said: “I absolutely love Gogglebox and couldn’t be more excited to be on it with my dad. I’m just hoping we don’t have to watch any of the antiques programmes he’s always watching".
Danny, who plays Mick Carter in EastEnders, said: “Dani and I had such a laugh filming Gogglebox and hope we can raise bucket-loads of money for Stand Up To Cancer, as it’s such a wonderful cause."
