Sophie Kasaei shows off ‘natural’ look after dissolving fillers

'Living in this industry since 20 years old came with the constant battle of trying to keep up with trends and fixing the outside rather than the inner healing'

We've witnessed many eras of Geordie Shore turned TOWIE star Sophie Kasaei over the fourteen years she's been on our screens and we've loved every single one.

In the showbiz world it's rare to find someone who is as unapologetically themselves and as transparent as Sophie at all times, but having interviewed her many times over the years, we can confirm, that's Sophie. We adore ya, pet.

One thing we really admire about the reality star is that she has always remained open and honest about cosmetic procedures (from 'tweakments' to surgery) since the moment she stepped into the spotlight at the age of 21 on Geordie Shore.

And in recent months, Sophie has been significantly open about her relationship with fillers, telling Closer earlier this year that she was ready to dissolve them once and for all. She told us that her decision to back away from an overly plumped face was because she believed it added years on her.

Sophie exclusively told Closer, 'Looking back, I didn’t look like me at all. I was obsessed with getting the ‘Kylie Jenner package’ – that cut jawline and high cheekbones. But I looked alienated, older and I couldn’t even recognise myself. It was so sad.'

She continued, 'There was one point at Geordie Shore where I just looked a hot mess.'

And while she says she will always have 'subtle tweaks' to help with the ageing process, she told us she was adamant that she wouldn't take the filler too far again.

Sophie added, 'I’ll still get Botox and filler to the tear troughs under my eyes done, but I won’t take it to that extent again. There’s nothing wrong with a little nip and tuck here and there to make you feel better, but visually changing who you are is a different ball game.

'I will never overfill or change the shape of my face again, or get all that stuff done to my chin and jawline and cheekbones – it was just too far.'

And then last week, Sophie revealed to her 2million followers that she has now gone ahead and had the fillers dissolved and revealed she's more than happy with the results, joking, 'My eyes look so bigger now.'

Sophie captioned her 'come with me' grid post video, 'Come get my filler dissolved with me!

'It’s been a long time coming but so glad I’m on this journey to looking and feeling more like me! I would of done this sooner but I had a really bad reaction a few years ago that left me traumatised with dissolver that I couldn't go through with it again but speaking to @drroshofficial @klnikofficial he reassured me he had all the meds to help in case it happened again.

'I've been getting filler since I was 17! That is mental I can’t even remember what I looked like before but living in this industry since 20 years old came with the constant battle of trying to keep up with trends and fixing the outside rather than the inner healing.

'I've learned my lessons and I’m finally happy and content in my life. I've realised I don’t need all this filler shoved in my face.'

Sophie continued, 'Don’t get me wrong I will forever get a few tweeks and procedures to keep me looking “healthy” but over filling is a thing of the past.

'Thank you for all your lovely comments recently I know I shouldn't seek validation from strangers but it does make me feel better when others can see a more natural look is better.'

Gorgeous before, after and always, Sophie.
