Can you believe that the next series of Geordie Shore will be season TWENTY SIX?
The show first aired in 2011 back when reality TV was a relatively new concept; the likes of Made in Chelsea and TOWIE were on our screens, but they didn't reach the chaotic heights of Geordie Shore.
Fourteen years later and the Newcastle-based series is still going strong with a very different cast and a very different vibe.
Although half the cast are now married, parents and/or focussing on their careers, it turns out they are still managing to cause some chaos for the producers and we love to see it.
Series 25 aired in January 2025 which saw Charlotte Crosby leave and Scotty T return, however, as producers start to plan series 26, they are facing some major issues regarding who will appear.
'No one expected negotiations to be this difficult,' a source revealed, 'a lot of the OGs love the show, but they’re not going to sign up just for the sake of it.'
'They’ve got other things going on,' The Daily Mirror revealed, 'unless the offer’s worth their while, they won’t commit.'
The likes of Vicky Pattinson and Aaron Chalmers are no longer on the show with others only appearing as a guest on a few episodes.
Obviously, we were gutted to hear Charlotte will not longer be a key cast member, but Scotty T making a comeback sure softens the blow.
The cast were last seen living it up in Thailand, but are apparently heading to Portugal for their next set of antics; but at the moment, it looks as though it's all up in the air.
'Some are tempted,' it has been reported, 'but it could go either way.'
