FYI, this news is giving us TOWIE Christmas single reboot vibes and we couldn't be more here for it because only Joey Essex didn't like that festive banger (scroll down).
Anyway, Closer has it on good authority (and by that we mean we spend most of our waking moments stalking celeb Instagram stories for tea, juice – all liquids really) that some of our favourite reality star lads and lasses have banded together to re-form celebrity super group The Celebs (think Band Aid with more ITV contracts), with a whole host of new celebs including TOWIE icon Shelby Tribble.
A little context; back in 2018 a celebrity super group was formed known as The Celebs. They gathered together to sing their hearts out and make music for charitable causes and now they're back with fresh celebs, a brand new single called So Delicious (obsessed) dropping Friday 15 December.
We first got a whiff of a The Celeb return when Shelby posted a teaser on her Instagram story last week.
The TOWIE queen wrote, "We did a thing. A few of us got together and recorded a single to raise money for @greatormondst.
"The single will be released on the 15th December but is available for pre-order now."
As it turns out, this has been in the pipeline for a while now, as the the official Instagram account for The Celebs revealed back in September, "Coming this December! The exciting new single from The Celebs in support of @greatormondst."
No doubt we were slowly dying of heat exhaustion in our living rooms when that announcement was first made along with the rest of the nation, so forgive us for not jumping on the festive bandwagon right then and there.
So, who else will be auto-tuned to advance AI-level in The Celebs new charity song, we here you ask? The internet is giving us clues here and there and it's beginning to look like a lot like something iconic.
In addition to Shelby, Love Island 2023 bombshell Abi Moores will also be lending her vocals to the new single, as will a handful of other Closer faves, including The Chase's Anne Hegerty, Bad Girls star Ivan Kaye and Emmerdale actress Isabel Hodgins.
We sound like we're being cynical, don't we? We're not; the single is for a wonderful cause and we all know it's going to end up on the top of all of our Spotify Wrapped next year – including ours.
The question remains: who is going to be the Jess Wright of So Delicious?
Shelby appeared in The Only Way is Essex from 2018 - 2019 but she was no stranger to the spotlight before that as she was, in fact, Miss Great Britain 2014.
