TOWIE has been on our telly for over a decade and in that time there have been some wild bust-ups; we cannot even fathom that amount of Prosecco the cast has wasted throwing it in the face of an enemy/frenemy/other half/loved one/anyone.
Or, in the case of Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone, red wine and at a white party – he DID have it coming to be fair.
But it turns out that one of the most muggy on-screen feuds wasn't between two scorned lovers, but instead featured a former Love Island star and a recently retired TOWIE icon.
Olivia Attwood may have only been on The Only Way is Essex for two seasons but that didn't stop the Love Island 2017 contestant from being part of one of the most complained about scenes in TOWIE history.
Honestly, did we expect anything less from Olivia? She never has been one to do anything by halves and during her stint on Love Island seven years ago, she was always causing some sort of raucous and rowing with show squeeze Chris Hughes.
Olivia recently took the time to watch back some of her TOWIE scenes including a dramatic argument with Chloe Brockett in which the two launched an endless array of scathing remarks and jibes at each other, and to say Liv cringed would be the understatement of the century.
In said clip, the two of them are all glammed up at some sort of party shindig and it is already kicking off.
"It's muggy, go away," Chloe shouts at Olivia and it takes Olivia 0.2 seconds to hurl back one hell of an insult...
"You'll never get married because no one likes you," the former Islander jibed.
After she watched the video back and had screamed "NO" at the camera a couple of hundred times Olivia dished the deets on that specific TOWIE moment.
"That was the most complained about scene in TOWIE history did you know that? That's a fact, that had the most Ofcom complaints," Olivia revealed and we can't say we're all that surprised. It was one hell of a row.
"Some things were said from the other side that were too below the belt - I'm probably going to get in trouble for saying this - and they had to be dropped," Olivia continued, "And then everything I said was left in, standard. So it ended up coming out a little bit unbalanced."
Ah, the classic blaming the edit deploy.
She continued, "I do look at that and I think, I don't feel great about it, I would not speak to anyone like that now I don't think. I think I've mellowed a hell of a lot in the last couple of years."
It is all water under the bridge between the two reality TV stars nowadays anyway as Olivia went on to reveal where the duo stand in 2024.
"Chloe Brockett actually came up to me at an event and she was like, 'Shall we put it all behind us?' I was like, 'Yes absolutely, I can't even remember what we were fighting about.'"
The burning question we have now is, how the hell do we go about having Chloe as a guest on Olivia's So Wrong It's Right podcast? These two on the same side would be a force to be reckoned with.
