If there's one TOWIE star we'd love to see back on our screens it's Megan McKenna.
She was truly an iconic cast member. From her turbulent relationship with Pete Wicks to her hilarious 'fake toupee and peddle pushers' row with Mike Hassini - she really was the gift that kept on giving.
Megan left the show in 2017 and has been thriving ever since. She said goodbye to reality TV and is now a singer, engaged to her partner and has a baby (more on that in a sec).
So we thought now is a good time to have a look back at Megan's TOWIE days and what she's doing now...
How old is Megan McKenna?
Megan was born on 26 September 1992, meaning she is currently 32 years old.
When did Megan McKenna join TOWIE?
So Megan actually made her TOWIE debut during the first series back in 2010. She won a place in Jess Wright’s band LOLA, and said, 'The auditions were shown on TOWIE and I was in LOLA for about a year and a half.
'But, when Jess' career started to take off and some of the others started to want to do their own thing, in the end we split.'
Fast forward six years (2016) and she became a permanent member on the ITVBe show that saw her fallout with best pals Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows and her rocky relationship with Pete.
What happened when Megan McKenna was on TOWIE?
We're going to be honest, a lot went down.
She discovered that Pete had cheated while they were filming for the show, she fell out with Chloe and Courtney and had a huge row with Chloe Lewis amid rumours that she slept with Jake Hall. Something Megan denied.
Was Megan McKenna on Ex on the Beach?
She sure was.
Viewers watched Megan and Jordan Davies fall for each other on Ex on the Beach. After the show, the pair were engaged but they called it quits after four months. Jordan has since said that life wouldn't be 'much fun' if he was still with Megan, telling Closer Online, 'If I was with Megan McKenna now?
'She’s a good looking girl but I just think I wouldn’t be having this much fun, put it that way. Whatever was meant to be was meant to be, but I’m a single lad living the dream still.'
When was Megan McKenna on Celebrity Big Brother?
Megan had blazing rows with John Partridge and Tiffany Pollard on Celebrity Big Brother.
She also threw tantrums in the diary room that was iconic TV and if we're honest, we binge watch Megan McKenna's best bits on YouTube regularly.

Was Megan McKenna on Britain's Got Talent?
Yep - Megan auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and, although she was unsuccessful, it gave her a taste for what she would eventually achieve.
Did Megan McKenna audition for The X Factor?
Following her attempt at Britain’s Got Talent, Megan applied for The X Factor (the regular version) twice.
Megan said, 'The first time, in 2013, I made it to boot camp but didn’t get any further. But then someone told me I have a country-kind of voice, so I auditioned again.
During her first audition in 2014, Simon Cowell told Megan he loved her voice and seemed excited by the fact there are no British country singers. But then things took a bad turn.
Megan explained, 'At the six chair challenge, after telling me he liked my voice, Simon said I'd never be taken seriously as a country singer because I’m from Essex.' Ouch. But she got the last laugh...
Was Megan McKenna on Celebrity X Factor?
Yes she was and she only went on to win the show (take that Simon). She's since gone on to support Michael Bublé at BST, performed at Glastonbury and has released her own album.
Is Megan McKenna's restaurant still open?
Remember when all the TOWIE stars opened businesses? Well Megan was no different. She opened McK Grill in May 2017 but the following year it closed down.
Are Megan McKenna and Ollie Burke married?
They're not married yet but Megan and footballer Ollie Burke are engaged.
Ollie proposed in June 2023 and at the time Megan wrote on Instagram, 'YES YES YES a thousand times YES.
'You have opened up a world I never thought was possible. I love you Oliver Burke… here’s to forever my future husband ♥️.'
Does Megan McKenna have any kids?
Megan and Ollie welcomed their baby boy Landon into the world in October 2024.
Posting an Instagram Reel of their baby boy, they announced his name, the time he was born and how much he weighed.
Why does Megan McKenna live in Germany?
She sure does.
After Ollie transferred to Weder Bremen (a German club), Megan announced the news on Instagram, saying, 'Guess what? I'm moving to Germany! I know I did some stories yesterday about packing, and a few of you thought I was going into labour, no, but let's hope I don't go into labour as I am now giving birth in Germany.'
She added, 'Ollie is in Germany and all of our stuff has been in storage for a couple of months. It's a bit crazy I'm moving countries. I'm excited, it's obviously going to be a big change.'
Was Megan McKenna bullied at school?
Megan has spoken about her childhood as some of her best memories but it turns out that school wasn’t easy for her.
She told Closer, 'I spent every lunchtime in the music room, practising my singing and playing the guitar – music is all I’ve ever wanted to do. But I was badly bullied.
'I still spent all of my time in the music room, but the bullying got so bad that, in the end, I couldn’t cope.'
After her nan and grandad paid for her to go to a performing arts school, things got better.
'I started to love what I was doing again,' Megan said. 'I was finally surrounded by people like me and I made some really good friends.'
