Their on/off love story has been keeping us entertained on TOWIE and while they’re currently very loved up on series 35 – which was filmed weeks ago – Ella Rae Wise and Dan Edgar are firmly off IRL.
Ahead of her entrance to the Celebrity Big Brother house last night (Monday 7 April), Ella has confirmed that she and Dan have split for the second time.
And, if her latest comments are anything to go by, it looks like it might be for good this time.

Revealing that she recently dumped Dan, Ella said, ‘We are not together. And it's really, really sad that we're not together. We split up a week ago.
‘It has nothing to do with Big Brother. It was a decision that I had to make because I didn't feel that we were getting things that we wanted out of each other.
‘We can be best friends, but if something's missing, what are we wasting our time for?’

Explaining the reasons behind her decision to end the relationship, Ella told The Sun, ‘I just feel that he's very set in his ways and I can't change someone and I can't expect someone to change either.
‘And if he's comfortable in how he is and if he thinks what he gives in a relationship is enough, that's okay because that can be enough for someone. But it's just not enough for me.
‘Look, he does do things that I think are so sweet, but there's just something that's missing. I don't know what it is. We can't just be together because we have a great sex life, it’s got to be deeper than that.’

Even before she split from Dan, speculation was rife that Ella could strike up a romance with Love Island’s Chris Hughes in the CBB house and the flames have only been fuelled following last night’s launch night.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted Chris’ reaction to Ella’s arrival and flocked to social media to share their thoughts, with one commenting, ‘Chris's eyes lit up,’ while another added, ‘Eyes almost popped out of his head didn't they?'
Ella’s TOWIE co-star Saffron Lempriere has also teased a potential romantic connection between the two reality stars, so watch this space…
