As the latest TOWIE star to take part in Dancing on Ice is revealed as Dan Edgar, it has us wondering; is the skating show the new Strictly?
They already have their similarities when it comes to glittery costumes, themed dances and controversial contestants, but now it looks as though the 'Dancing on Ice curse' may well be here to take the title from Strictly.
As ITV continue to announce which celebs will be learning a whole new skill right before our very eyes, contestants are already calling it a day on their relationships and the show hasn't even aired yet.
According to MailOnline, The Traitors star Mollie Pearce recently split from her boyfriend of three years JUST as she signed up for the entertainment show and now Ella Rae Wise has us doubting her romance with Dan Edgar.
Taking to Instagram Ella posted a quote/meme/whatever it is kids call it these days, which read, 'Change is scary but so is staying the same.'
No one else in the world quite likes inspirational and motivational quotes as much as Ella Rae Wise, but this one has us wondering what has her so scared?
Strictly Come Dancing is of course notorious for ending relationships, who could ever forget the Katya Jones x Seann Walsh x Neil Jones scandal that rocked the nation back in 2018?
However, in recent years, some celeb relationships haven't survived Dancing on Ice, causing fans to tarnish the ITV show with the same curse as Strictly.
Made in Chelsea's Miles Nazaire broke up with Amelie Esquenet when he starred on the show last year and Love Island couple Wes Nelson and Megan Barton also split when Wes took part in Dancing on Ice; Megan even blamed his dance parter Vanessa Bauer for the demise of their relationship.
Will Dan and Ella's love affair survive his latest endeavour or will they be another Dancing on Ice casualty?
More importantly, how much do we have to pay the ITV big bosses to see Dan taking to the ice and training on TOWIE?
