It’s the TOWIE love story that keeps on giving and Ella Rae Wise’s romance with Dan Edgar took yet another turn recently when she confirmed that they’d split up just days before she went into lockdown ahead of her entrance to the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Although it seemed like they were going to make a proper go of it this time, Ella admitted that ‘something was missing’ from their relationship and said, ‘We can't just be together because we have a great sex life, it’s got to be deeper than that.’
Now, as she flirts up a storm with Love Island’s Chris Hughes in the CBB house, Dan has broken his silence on their split and shed a little bit more light on what went down between them.

‘The past week has seen a strange turn of events and things have been said that I didn’t really want to comment on,’ he told The Sun.
‘But, to put it straight, Ella and I agreed to go our separate ways amicably last week, and were speaking right up until she left to go into the house.
‘I think we both have our reasons for why it wasn’t working out, but there are certain things in life I would rather keep private. I wish her all the best and hope she enjoys her experience.’

Despite Dan insisting that things were ‘amicable’ between him and Ella, friends of the reality star have told the publication that he was ‘shocked’ by her remarks about what they get up to in the bedroom.
They said, ‘Dan might be on TOWIE and share elements of his life, but there are certain things that he likes to keep private, and Ella publicly discussing their sex life was just a step too far for him.
‘It came without any warning and he really didn't expect that from her. He was shocked to say the least.’
Now that Ella’s single once again, there’s been speculation that she and Chris could grow close on Celebrity Big Brother. Her TOWIE co-star Saffron Lempriere teased, ‘I think Chris will fancy Ella.’
