As the latest batch of celebs hit the Strictly dance floor in hope of winning the coveted Glitterball Trophy, fans are already predicting who will fall for their partner on Strictly 2024, with many viewers picking up on the flirty vibes between Pete Wicks and his partner Jowita Przystal.

Now, a source tells Closer that pals are worried about the former TOWIE star breaking Jowita's heart.

'Pete is having so much fun on Strictly and he's getting on so well with Jowita, there's a lot of flirting going on. But friends who know Pete know he's a bit of a ladies’ man and they're worried he'll break her heart. He's not interested in committing to anyone at the moment,' a source says.

Pete, 36 - whose former flings include fellow TOWIE stars Megan McKenna, 31, Chloe Sims, 42, and Ella Rae Wise, 24 - is no stranger to a relationship in the public eye, and Strictly has become known for spawning celeb affairs and flings.

The reality star fuelled the romance rumours last week on his podcast, Staying Relevant, with co-host Sam Thompson, 32, as he gushed about Jowita, 30. Pete said, 'I could not have got a better partner. She's unbelievable. My little pocket rocket.' He continued, 'She makes me feel good. And that is really important.'

The source tells Closer that although Pete and Jowita may have a spark, he's determined to buckle down and work hard.

The source says, 'He started it all with a typical laid-back approach, finding it quite funny how some of the other celebs were taking it all so seriously, but he's now been put firmly back in his box, it's not a night out on the pull, it's a serious competition!'
