The semi-final for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing is just around the corner, where the likes of Love Island's Tasha Ghouri and comedian Chris McCausland are set to dance their hearts out for a ticket to the final.
One person who seems to have defied the odds and will be joining Tasha and Chris in the semis as well as JLS singer JB Gill and actress Sarah Hadland is TOWIE star Pete Wicks.
Despite receiving consistently mediocre scores from the judges, reality TV star turned podcaster Pete has continued to remain in the competition and hasn't ended up in the deadly dance off once.
However, after Montell Douglas was sent home on the weekend, Pete has once again found himself in the firing line with some Strictly viewers, some of whom believe he should have been sent packing instead of the Olympian.
Taking to Instagram, Pete posted a somewhat inspiring quote on his story but in classic Pete style it had a little bite.
'Kill them with your hard work,' the message read and Pete's comment comes after countless fans of the dancing show took to the Strictly instagram to share their thoughts on the remaining celebs.
One person wrote, 'Absolutely shocking that Pete is in.....switched off tonight in disgust,' with another adding, 'How the hell is Pete Wicks still in this is absolutely fixed Montel is a better dancer than Pete.'
But it's not all bad as one fan commented, 'Wow the hate for Pete is quite serious.. the public vote. Are use all voting??? You see his face every week, he is so shocked. It’s a show, just enjoy it and leave the hate aside.. it’s Christmas!'
With another in agreement as they wrote, 'Can we just congratulate the people still there rather than tearing them down. Each person participating has their reasons to be there and they all are doing wonderful.'
Hear, hear. 'Tis the damn season and all that, guys, let's all just be merry and bright.
