The father of Moira Barton’s baby has been revealed…

Emmerdale viewers are finally going to find out who's the father of Moira Barton's baby

Emmerdale has been full of drama recently; we saw James Barton's ghost return to the Dales, Emma Barton shot her son Finn, Moira Barton (who didn't know she was pregnant) went into labour and then Emma died.

The evil villain may have finally bowed out of Emmerdale but the drama is certainly not over because we still don't know who Moira's baby daddy is.

Since she went into labour, viewers have been left wondering whether her child's father is her ex-boyfriend Cain Dingle or her nephew but now it's been confirmed that the baby is in fact… Cain's!

Moira and Cain split last year after a series of events, that included the bad boy kissing his ex-Charity, but they spent the night together towards the end of the year and alas Moira fell pregnant.

We doubt things are going to be easy for the new parents as Cain is in a relationship with Harriet Finch and Moira's nephew Pete (by marriage) thinks the baby is his.

The week begins with the village mourning Finn and Emma's death. It's not long before Pete arrives at the hospital and begins to bond with the new baby but Moira has to let him down and tell him the baby might not be his.

Pete demands a paternity test before having a go at Cain and telling him the baby might be his. Not only does this surprise Cain but it leaves his girlfriend Harriet wondering whether their relationship can make it through the latest revelation.

It's not long before Moira and Harriet discuss what would happen is Cain is the dad and while Moira believes he will want nothing to do with the little one, Harriet disagrees.

After it is confirmed that Cain is the baby daddy, he storms off leaving Moira to hide her true feels and Pete is left disappointed that the baby isn't his.

But what does this mean for Harriet and Cain? Is it over for the pair?

Will Moira and Cain reunite?
