Hollyoaks fans won’t want to miss tonight’s episode, as Amy Barnes’ murderer is finally set to be revealed.

In dramatic scenes, which are set to air tonight, Amy Barnes' murderer is finally going to come to light, following James Nightingale’s confession that he knows who the culprit is.

Yep, in case you missed it, in the last episode, James told Ste: "You say anything and you will regret it. Because I know the truth, Ste.

"It's quite an easy one to piece together, actually. And trust me, you do not want it coming out. I've known all along. Who really killed Amy..."

Eeeek.

And in today's episode, things finally come to a conclusion.

The show starts before Ste’s murder trial, where his friends and family are still unaware about James’ bombshell, and are heading to court to support him.

Tony Hutchinson is feeling surprisingly positive about the trial, telling his son Harry and his partner Diane that he has a good feeling about the day, but Harry seems far more anxious.

And his nerves only seem to get worse and worse as the day goes on. Could Harry have something to hide?

Also looking rather stressed about the trial are Amy’s children, Leah and Lucas – although that could be because it’s their mum’s murder trial, of course...

But could there be a more sinister reason the kids are concerned?!

After all, James’ warning certainly sounded like the killer would be somebody that Ste would want to protect – meaning his kids are the most obvious choice.

However, using this logic, Tony could also be thrown into the mix, seeing as he and Ste are so close. Could he be remaining so positive to hide the fact he’s actually to blame?!

We’ve got so many questions. Tonight can’t come soon enough!
