Hollyoaks bosses have released a new trailer for the soap, showing the final five suspects in the ‘Who Killed Amy?’ murder storyline.
Amy Barnes, played by Ashley Slanina Davies, was tragically killed on her wedding day and in episodes airing from next week starting Friday 1 September on Channel 4 and Monday 4 September on E4, when the trial begins.
Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) is the prime suspect with others including James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan), who is also representing Ste in court as well as framing him, Ryan Knight (Duncan James), who is Amy’s husband and was having an affair with Kyle Kelly (Adam Rickitt), Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool), Ste’s fiance, and DS Armstrong (Andrew Hayden Smith), who has a history of terrorising young women and was Amy’s stalker.
In the clip, which has been shared on the show's official Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages today, fans can see different versions of the night Amy died, with each of the suspects being in her flat before she was murdered.
Producers are also organising a Facebook Live trial which will take place on Thursday 31 August at 4.34pm and it will feature interviews with each of the suspects.
