Is Hollyoaks star Keiron Richardson leaving his role as Ste Hay in the aftermath of Amy Barnes' death?
Please don't let it be true. Hollyoaks fave Kieron Richardson has teased that he's unsure of his future in the soap following the death of Amy Barnes - which hits screens this week. Kieron - whose character Ste Hay is well and truly in the frame for Amy's death - spoke to the Daily Star about what's coming up.
He said: "I honestly couldn’t be more proud of this week’s episodes. It was my time to absolutely grab this performance by the balls and show people what I’m made of.I feel like my whole career, the last 12 years of training, has been leading up to this point.
He added: “It’s one of those things, 'Am I staying? Am I going?’ Nobody knows yet. It all happens with the story."
It's a big week in Hollyoaks this week - Amy finally ties the knot with Ryan on tonight's C4 episode at 6.30pm. But she's not going to get her fairytale ending. While we know she dies, Hollyoaks are tight-lipped on what exactly happens.
Kieron also revealed that Ste isn't the only one in the frame for Amy's death. He told OK! "We have filmed different endings. There’s serval actors in the mix, petrified, and I’m one of them."
Let's hope Ste isn't going anywhere. It wouldn't be Hollyoaks without him.
