A source told The Sun: “The show’s producers are really keen to get them on and would be happy to pay up to £500,000 to see it happen.
“Everyone’s really excited at the prospect because they are so dynamic and they already know they make great TV.
“They're fan favourites and their dry humour is bound to be hilarious in the house.”
But they’re not the only Gogglebox stars that the Channel 5 show has tried to pinch.
Yup, taking to Twitter, Sandra has claimed on Twitter that she was asked to join Big Brother with her friend Sandy.
However they turned it down because “Gogglebox is [their] show”.
Commenting on the news about Stephen and Chris, Sandra tweeted: “LADIES WAS OFFERED TO GO ON BIG BROTHER BUT WE SAID NO TANKS.
“GOGGLEBOX IS OUR SHOW.”
She added: “WOOP WOOP TO STEPHEN AND CHRIS X”
Thank goodness, eh? We don’t think we’d have been able to cope if we lost Chris and Steven AND Sandy and Sandra.
Because, yes, if rumours about Chris and Stephen are true, then they will have to terminate their contract with Channel 4’s Gogglebox.
Say it ain’t so, guys!
If they decide to take the plunge, they wouldn’t be the first Gogglebox stars to enter the Big Brother house.
George Gilbey, who also appears on the show, left temporarily to join the likes of Lauren Goodger and Stephanie Pratt for the fourteenth series of the show.
We guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens, eh?
