It’s not long until Celebrity Big Brother 2016 hits our telly screens.

Set to air at 9pm on Tuesday 5th January, Emma Willis recently said of the upcoming lineup: “I do think this is one of the strongest we've ever had... there are a couple in there that I was so excited about, purely because of my own love of them in the past.

“Aside from people you may have loved in the past, there are just some great characters who I think will give TV gold.”

The Channel 5 show will not release the confirmed celebrity lineup until our stars enter the Big Brother house.

But there have been plenty of rumours, reports, and showbiz leaks, which means that we’ve managed to whip up a list of the rumoured celebrities most likely to star in Celebrity Big Brother 2016.

Which one would YOU most like to see ushered into the house by Emma Willis?

JOHN PARTRIDGE

That’s right, Christian from EastEnders.

The soapstar and West End actor is reported to have signed up to the show, with a source telling the Daily Star: “John is outspoken and will speak as he finds.

“He will certainly shake things up.”

GEMMA COLLINS

Rumour has it Gemma initially turned down an appearance on this summer's 'CBB', but has been talked into taking part in the upcoming series, following her departure from 'The Only Way Is Essex'.

A source explained: “Gemma is feisty and loves a spat, she’s not afraid of confrontation and would make a great housemate.

"She’s all about the drama and always speaks her mind.”

DAVID GEST

David Gest, who bamboozled us all when he appeared on I’m A Celebrity back in 2006, is believed to have been paid £600,000 to go into the house.

SPENCER MATTHEWS

Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews found himself in the middle of a scandal when he was forced to quit I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! because of a steroid addiction.

Now, according to Heat, the 27-year-old is looking to enter the CBB2016 house in a bid to do some damage control.

DANNIELLA WESTBROOK

She was tipped to feature in the last series of Celebrity Big Brother, but was deemed 'unfit' to appear on the show.

But a source has since told the Daily Star that she WILL be appearing in CBB2016 - and that she’s agreed to a deal worth £250,000, too.

A source told the paper: “It's the best early Christmas present she could wish for. She can start 2016 with a comeback on telly and a big payday.”

STEPHANIE DAVIS

Hollyoaks’s Stephanie was initially signed up to appear in this year's 'I'm A Celebrity', but had to pull out at the last minute, due to a severe nut allergy.

So it makes sense that she has, according to reports, signed up for Celebrity Big Brother 2016 instead.

NADYA SULEMAN (AKA OCTOMOM)

Octomom gave birth to octuplets in 2009 - and is now a mum of FOURTEEN children.

Now, according to The Sun, she’s heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house for 2016… and is hoping that her experience as the mother of a large family will prove useful in dealing with her fellow celebs.

NANCY DELL’OLIO

Sven-Göran Eriksson’s ex-girlfriend reportedly will receive a six-figure sum for appearing on CBB2016, but producers definitely think she’s worth every single penny.

In fact, they reckon she’ll become "one of the most memorable contestants in show history", according to reports from the Daily Star.

SCOTT DISICK

Scott Disick has reportedly been offered £600,000 to appear in the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother.

And we imagine that, if he goes in, he’ll be setting a few things straight about his relationship with estranged girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian…

JONATHAN CHEBAN

Mmhmm, Kim Kardashian’s best friend.

An insider told Daily Mirror: “Jonathan has a unique insight into the world’s most famous couple.

“He’ll also make great TV as he’s not afraid to shy away from a row and he’s pretty outspoken.”

VANILLA ICE

Ice Ice, maybe?

Well, it wouldn’t be a series of Celebrity Big Brother without an American rapper in there, would it?

HULK HOGAN

Hulk Hogan pulled out of CBB’s UK vs USA series - but that doesn’t mean he’ll never enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.

He told BANG Showbiz: “‘Big Brother’ have called for several years now. I don't know, first off you can never say never.

“Hey, if you want me to be on ‘Big Brother’ tomorrow, I'll be in there tomorrow if you put $50 million in my bank account!

“You know what I'm saying, money is always a part of the decision making process.”

ANGIE BOWIE

Yes, David Bowie’s ex-wife is also rumoured to be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house.

A source told The Sun: "She may not be a massive name in her own right but we think she's a great signing because she will have some incredible stories to tell about her days with David."

DARREN DAY

Love rat Darren Day is reportedly entering the house - and show bosses are hoping he’ll talk about his string of famous exes, including Anna Friel and Suzanne Shaw.

A source told The Sun: “Darren’s telly dynamite and producers think that viewers will love to hate him. But no one will hate him as much as all the women he used during his days as a love rat.

“There’s going to be a lot of people out there very worried about what secrets he reveals during his time on the show.”

DAPPER LAUGHS

Dapper Laughs - known formally as Daniel O’Reilly - sparked a huge backlash last year when he made a joke about rape.

Now it has been rumoured that he is entering the CBB2016 house in a bid to repair his tarnished image.

“Dapper is still one of the most controversial performers in the UK and will get viewers watching," a Channel 5 source told the Daily Star.

"No doubt he is keen to try and show that his off-stage persona is sensitive and caring.”

OLA JORDAN

Ola Jordan’s husband, James, appeared on Celebrity Big Brother alongside Lauren Goodger - and he made it through to the final!

So it makes sense that the Strictly star is tipped for the new series.

“Ola made up her mind pretty quickly she was going to go in after being offered the chance to be a contestant," a source told The Daily Star.

“Husband James is delighted she’s going in and has been giving her tips on how to survive life with cameras on you 24/7.”

KOO STARK

Following Lady Colin Campbell’s explosive appearance on I’m A Celebrity, it makes sense that Celebrity Big Brother bosses were looking to make a similar booking.

It has been reported that Koo (aka Prince Andrew’s former lover) has apparently signed a deal to star in the series.

A source said: "We think Koo is a brilliant booking. There aren't many people who have dated a royal."

KRISTINA RIHANOFF

Kristina Rihanoff, just like Ola Jordan, is rumoured to be swapping Strictly Come Dancing for CBB2016.

A source told the Sun: "She hasn't told bosses at Strictly she's going, but there is next to no chance that they will have her back when they hear she's signed up for CBB."

BIANCA DEL RIO

Bianca Del Rio, who shot to fame on RuPaul's Drag Race, is rumoured to be entering the CBB2016 house - and we REALLY hope it proves to be true. That would be insanely good telly, wouldn’t it?

SELINA WATERMAN-SMITH

She’s not what we’d necessarily call a ‘celebrity’, but The Apprentice’s Selina has expressed an interest in appearing on CBB2016. Apparently she wants to show the British public the ‘real her’… and offer a glimpse at her more fun side.

RACHEL CHRISTIE

David McIntosh's ex Rachel Christie has apparently been offered £300,000 to take part in the Channel 5 show after appearing on Love Island.

LILLIE LEXIE

Gaz Beadle’s ex has reportedly been offered £200,000 to enter the CBB2016 house, un the hope that she’ll open up about their love triangle with Charlotte Crosby.
