When Leyla tells David she loves him, his wife Tracy is not surprisingly LIVID!....
When it comes to nicking her friends’ boyfriends, Lelya has got form and next week sees her setting her sights on her ex David!
The pair have been spending quite a lot of time together recently and their closeness hasn’t gone unnoticed by David’s wife Tracy.
When Leyla helps Dave decorate the Christmas Grotto in this shop, it’s not long before she’s batting those big eyes at him, giving him wistful looks and telling him she wondered how it all went so wrong between them!
Well let’s jog your memory shall we Lelya, it all went so wrong when you jilted David just before you were supposed to walk down the aisle with him, reducing him to a drunken and broken mess as you packed your bags and strutted out of Emmerdale!
Hey ho! She seems to have forgotten all the heartache she’s caused.
Next week her philandering boyfriend, Pete, attempts to get back in Leyla’s good books by arranging a special meal for two in David’s shop (hmm..probably not the best location).
However it all goes pear-shaped when David makes a comment that gets Pete’s back up and the angry Barton brother takes a swing at him!
Later on, Leyla who has clearly gone right off Pete The Cheat, cosies up to David and tells him it’s him she wants to be with, not Pete. Brazen!
When David politely gives her the brush off and reminds her he’s now happily married to Tracy, Leyla is crest-fallen but undeterred she has another go the very next day.
As she and David are alone in the grotto she once again tells him she still has strong feelings for him, so strong she even uses the “L” word just as Tracy arrives on the scene.
Uh oh…not surprisingly it all kicks off as a furious Tracy tells Leyla to back off and gives her love rival a very angry ultimatum.
What has Tracy said to Leyla and will it make any difference or is Leyla determined to win David back, no matter what?
