It looks like Chas Dingle unwittingly makes things worse for her son Aaron, when she visits him in prison tonight. Aaron - who has just started a 12-month sentence for his attack on Kasim Sabet - revealed that he was gay to his fellow inmates in last night's episode (Wednesday 1 March). And, let's just say that prison homophobe Jason, didn't take the news too well.
Aaron had been trying to keep his sexuality hidden after a guard warned him that he'd be putting himself in the firing line if he was honest.But his cover was blown last night when his new hubby, Robert Sugden, visited him. Jason caught Robert giving Aaron's leg a comforting rub under the visitor's table. He confronted Aaron later about the intimate moment and Aaron admitted he's gay.
In tonight's episode Chas bites back when Jason makes a quip about Aaron -threatening the bully. But how will her intervention go down with the other inmates? We're guessing not so well.
