Uh-oh. Mick Carter upsets his mum, Shirley, tonight when he chooses Whitney to be at side during a meeting with the bank instead of her. As we know, Mick's been having a whole heap of financial issues lately - what with the pub roof caving in, Aunt Babe getting them all a £20k fine and taking on dopey son Lee's debts.
It all looked like it was going to be ok when Jack Branning offered him a loan, but puppet master Max quickly made him rethink, leaving Mick well and truly up the creek.
In tonight's episode Shirley has the brainwave idea of - you'll never guess - asking the bank for a loan. Who knew such a simple solution was right at their fingertips?
But Shirl is soon put out when Mick reveals he's asked Whitney to help him at the meeting instead of his mum. Does Shirley clock that the pair are getting too close for comfort?
