Robert and Aaron's relationship takes centre stage for a special Christmas Day episode when Robert wakes up in confusion and finds himself reliving the same day over and over again – think GroundHog Day mixed with A Christmas Carol and you'll get the idea!

As Robert's day gets progressively stranger, all is not quite as it seems but will the scheming Sugden, who is gutted to have lost the love of his life, Aaron, learn anything as he's forced to go over things again and again in a perpetual nightmare?

And could this be the wake-up call he needs to reunite with the only man he's ever truly wanted?

Meanwhile, when he tries to give the Whites a present for his son, baby Seb, they're not impressed.

In fact, the family make it clear they don't want him anywhere near Seb and close ranks against him.

Can outcast Rob turn things around or are all his ruined relationships beyond repair?

While Robert is licking his wounds over losing Aaron and wallowing in the fact they may never be together again, his former lover is enjoying spending time with Dr Alex.

But later on Chas's son is kicking himself, and when Christmas Day approaches he decides he's not going to let Alex slip through his fingers again, and the two end up kissing!
