So Phil Mitchell returned to the Square, was angrier than ever and everyone LOVED it

EastEnders' premier hard-man Phil Mitchell made a speedy dash back to the Square - like a boss

We might have been promised that Phil would return to the Square a changed man, but he seemed to be pretty much the angry, psycho we know and love. Phil, who's been away in Italy recuperating from his life-saving liver transplant, made his full-time Walford comeback following daughter Louise's horrible accident at the school prom last week. He looked healthier - and much less yellow - than last time we saw him, but everything else about him was the same. Especially when he literally THREW Lisa Fowler out of the hospital.

We knew the reunion wouldn't exactly be hearts and flowers but we hoped that Phil might be able to put his feelings for his ex to one side for the sake of their daughter - and probably his heart.

But, he ended up chucking Lisa out the back door of Walford General - with the bins. "The bin men are on their way," he sneered as Lisa scrabbled to get off the ground. Then he told her to never go near Louise again. And no one could cope.
