EastEnders actor Jake Wood has revealed that Max Branning's revenge storyline will continue for three years
If you thought that EastEnders' Who Killed Lucy Beale storyline went on for a long time, then you've seen nothing yet. Max Branning actor, Jake Wood, has revealed that his character's revenge plot (which is obviously linked to Lucy's murder) will go on for a staggering THREE YEARS. Jake told RadioTimes.com: "All the best storylines that people enjoy are mapped out over a long period."
He likened the story with Max's affair with Stacey Slater, adding: "With Max and Stacey - that was always a three-year storyline and Max's revenge is going to play out for at least that long, hopefully."
EastEnders fans have already see Max lay down the foundations of his plot - he's convinced Shirley to sell the freehold of the Queen Vic, making an enemy of Mick Carter in the process.
He's also tried to break his already broken brother, Jack, by framing him for attacking Charlie Cotton over Charlie's son, Matthew.
Max was sent to prison in 2015 for murdering Lucy Beale, despite most of the Square knowing that Bobby was the real killer. He looks set to get revenge on everyone who stood by and did nothing.
And seeing what he's done to his own brother, we can't wait to see what he's got in store for the main players - Phil Mitchell and Ian and Jane Beale.
Although, it sounds like we've got more than a bit of a wait on our hands.
