As EastEnders fans have probably guessed, there's a lot of fallout from last week's drama, read on for all the spoilers
As soap weeks go, you probably don't get a lot bigger than last week. It was going off everywhere from Walford to Weatherfield. So this week in SoapLand is going to be very busy, dealing with the direct fallout of all the murder, attempted murder, accidental death, affair reveals, cancer shocks. Phew. No wonder we're all feeling a bit emotionally drained this weekend. Over in Walford, it's all about picking up the pieces...
1. Michelle is short of friends
Hardly surprising that Michelle Fowler isn't Miss Popularity on Albert Square. Hey, we can't even bring ourselves to post a photo of her. But as gossip spreads about her and Preston, Martin refuses to even visit her in hospital as he struggles to get his head round it all. Then she falls out with Sharon, who eventually comes clean and admits the truth about Preston to Michelle. 'Chelle then irritates Sharon further when she announces she plans to visit Preston in Florida. Crikey woman, just leave it already. As if that wasn't enough to be getting on with, Ian confronts her about the damage to the chippy. One way ticket is it, 'Chelle?
2. Tina struggles to cope
Grief-stricken Tina returns to work, but is quickly sent home by Kathy. Billy spots her outside and after offering his condolences, suggests she should start thinking about funeral arrangements sooner rather than later. Poor Tina is left reeling and can't even go upstairs at the Pub. With Mick away, it's also her job to tell Shirley about their mum. How will she handle it? Later in the week, struggling Tina gets a helping hand from an unexpected friend.
3. Lauren and Josh grow closer
Hmmm. Not sure this will end well. Anyway, Lauren gets a call from Josh, who invites her out to dinner to discuss a potential photography job at his company. Guess that's what the kids are calling it these days. Lauren breaks the news to Max later in the week that she plans to apply for a job at his company. A somewhat shady Max tells her to apply somewhere else. But Lauren sticks to her guns. What's Max hiding....?
