Last night’s EastEnders finished with an almighty doof doof as Mark Fowler Jr descended onto the square, much to the surprise of his uncle Martin.
Played by Ned Porteous, Mark Jr is the product of a passionate one-night stand between Michelle Fowler and Grant Mitchell way back in 1997. However, after Phil discovered the full truth of Mark’s parentage of his brother’s secret son in a letter written to Peggy – Phil decided to give young Mark Jr a call.

Of course, Grant has nooooo idea that he has a son. We’re not even sure where Grant is, to be honest.
With Ian Beale, Sharon Mitchell and Martin eager to keep this secret under wraps, will they succeed?
Or is it only a matter of time before the truth comes out?
