Michelle Fowler is back on our screens! Well, kind of. But a return could be on the cards as Grant Mitchell is set to learn that he fathered a child with her, Mark Jnr, the product of a passionate roll around back in 1995.
If you're part of the younger EastEnders audience, you were most likely still in nappies back when Michelle roamed the square, unaware of the fact that she had an affair with her best mate's dad and left lovely Lofty at the alter.

Who IS Michelle Fowler?

EastEnders’ Michelle Fowler was basically the Lauren Branning of the 1990’s - hard as nails and a teen tearaway but deep down, she had a good heart. She was brought up by two HUGE EastEnders matriarchs, mum Pauline Fowler and Grandma Lou, so it’s no wonder she was so feisty.

She sent shockwaves throughout the square when she fell pregnant at the tender age of 16, after a steamy night of passion with pub landlord (and her best pal's dad) Den Watts. She refused to go down the route of abortion and gave birth to baby Vicky, managing to keep her baby's identity a secret. For the time being. This is EastEnders...

Later on, Michelle finally kissed her prince, Lofty Holloway, who would walk over hot coals for her and Vicky. They got married on the quiet but Michelle was never happy with the life Lofty gave her. She fell pregnant, but ended up aborting his baby with the help of Den. Yep the man she slept with years earlier.

Michelle finally told her best mate Sharon Watts (now Mitchell) that she had a child with Den after he passed away (the first time) in 1989, thinking that it would bring her some comfort. It didn’t.

In 1994, Michelle was involved in a seige of the Queen Vic and was caught in ther crossfire.

In 1995, Michelle had a one-night stand with the mighty Grant Mitchell and fled the square soon after.
Where is Michelle Fowler now?
Michelle fled to America in 1995 and has been there ever since. She’s got a new fella (Sharon recently attended their wedding) and still lives with her children Vicky and Mark Jnr.
Peggy, Roxy and Sharon have all gone off to Florida on their jollys when the doom and gloom of Walford has been to much for them to handle...
In a pretty amazing doof doof, we recently found out that Grant Mitchell could be Mark Jnr’s biological father due to his and Michelle's roll around back in the 90’s.
Could this mean a potential return for Michelle, Vicky and Mark Jnr? We hope so!
