There are embarrassed faces all round when Craig discovers the WHOPPING GREAT secret Bethany’s been hiding
Lovely Craig Tinker, he’s one of life’s good guys and we adore him. So we feel for him next week when he discovers what his girlfriend’s new job is….a lap dancer!
Unfortunately the way he finds out couldn’t possibly be any more AWKWARD!
Police-cadet Craig is called to a fracas at the lap-dancing club where Bethany and her new BF Sam are working and is STUNNED to discover his girlfriend writhing about in a basque for the pleasure of eager punters.
Meanwhile, a mortified Bethany is equally wide-eyed when she claps eyes on her uniformed squeeze.
At first Sarah’s daughter thinks she’s managed to escape him, and spotting Craig in the distance with his colleague, she immediately scarpers backstage and hides while doing a quick costume change, from her Little Mix style ensemble into a pair of tracky bottoms.
However, she’s later hauled out front by the manager as a witness to the scuffle…which is when she comes face to face with Craig. Uh oh.
“Bethany is mortified that Craig has discovered what she does”, says Lucy Fallon who plays the teen, who viewers saw suffer months of sexual abuse at the hands of evil groomer Nathan. Mortified but in no way ashamed.
Lucy continues, “She basically says to him, ‘This is my job and if you can’t handle it you know where to go.’ She’s not going to let anyone tell her what she can or can’t do and feels really confident in what she’s doing.”
Good on her, but what will a shocked and flustered Craig make of the situation once the dust has settled.
Will he decide he can live with Bethany’s secret job or does this latest revelation mean it’s curtains for the cute couple?
